One Missed Pill

Little pills I take at night silence berating thoughts of mine; but if I miss just one small dose, I feel I’m hated by those so close.
Heart is pounding feeling dread, why do they hate me words not said; looks of worry read so wrong, suffering painful grief that does not belong.
Why do I stay when I cause so much pain, is what it feels like when I’m not sane; I should leave them in peace, just let my life force cease.
All because of one missed pill, my heart is pounding to its will; breathing slowly to calm my fears, holding back a host of tears.
Can you now empathize how I feel? When I miss just one white pill; let me be and sanity will come, just not to alone or there will be none.

Guests appear within the walls, dancing across the ballroom floor.
Music sings within my ears, raindrops falling like glistening tears;
Glancing up to see the rain, she enters now and makes me sane.
Dripping curls of chocolate hair, flawless skins soft and fair;
Dress made from Angelic lace, could not take from her face.
Her footsteps glide across the floor, grace and beauty so much more;
Stopping close to my side, deep brown eyes of joyful life.
Bells ring within my ears, when she whispers close and near;
Hello my love Sorry I’m late, for the anniversary of our first date.
Coley Smiles

Giggles and laughs as SpongeBob falls, waking mommy from dreams of all; hugs and kisses for morning rise, beginning play as we go outside.
Living life with joyful cheer, bringing delight to those so near; Mommy glows with prideful delight , watching Coley spring with life.

Archeologist Dreams
This was an entry for a flash fiction, I had to use the words, Mokey, Cross and Poem in a story 300 words or less.
The colorful clouds separated dissipating into the distance. I could now see the ground below and the temples rising like giant monuments to the Incas out of the jungle. The greens of the rain forest mixed with different shades of leaves and vines creeping higher and higher till it looked as if they were touching the sky. I could see a mountain in the distance half covered by a cloud the tip still peeking out above as if it were saying hello. This was my dream my life and I was finally here. The plane jerked and dropped inches at a time as we began to land. My heart was thudding with a deep pounding of a drum with anticipation. Finally the screech of the tires touched the landing strip and slowed to a stop. I was the first out of the plan after Dr. Zumaz. It felt like Christmas morning to me. I stood on the dirt path leading into the astounding jungle green and noticed a monkey cross the path ahead. A poem from my childhood sprang to my mind bringing me to revere. I walked in wonder taking a bottomless gratifying breath ready to begin my life and adventure as an archeologist.

Flash Fiction Contest "That's It"
This was entered for a flash fiction cotest 300 words or less. I recieved an annonimous 3 month membership upgrade to Writing.com the site I write on and enter contests. Yeah! I had some great feedback from reviewers too.
Joan opened the back door balancing the garbage bag in one had trying not to spill anything. She smell the leftovers she had a few days ago decomposing in the bag. “Yuck” she exclaimed thinking she really needed to take her garbage out sooner. As she walked to the edge of her back porch leaning over she noticed her garbage can lid was off again and a small trail of crumbs led under the porch.
“Ahhhh!” she yelled in frustration as she plopped the bag in the open can.
“Not again! That stupid raccoon has stolen its last meal!” she yelled.
Joan stomped in the house and plopped down in front of her computer. She quickly pulled up a search engine typing raccoon problem:
The last showed a picture of a claw like contraption that sprung shut on touch. Joan remembered her father having one from past hunting trips and ran outside to the shed. She began to rummage though his hunting supplies till she found what she was looking for. "Let's settle this once and for all" she yelled toward the house and started running toward the porch. She crawled on her belly under the porch and stopped when she heard a small squeaking noise. She looked to her right as she became aware of the nest of what looked like baby raccoons. Her heart began to soften as she saw their frail small bodies. She slowly squirmed her way back out and dusted herself off knowing she would never hurt that stupid raccoon and would probably start setting out food for it too. She sighed and went inside to call her mother to tell her how soft she was becoming.
